Summary
Sex and violence is a look at the «dark side» of cinema, from its beginnings to the present. It looks at films that consider prohibited subjects such as sex and violence, breaking down taboos and causing a lot of talk, as well as subject matter like cannibalism, splatter, Nazi-erotic, and women in prison. Directors such as H.G. Lewis, Jess Franco, Lucio Fulci, Alberto Cavallone, Miike Takashi, Jörg Buttgereit have used their talents to create provocative film masterpieces and misunderstood exploitation films which are unpleasant and at times unbearable but which cannot be ignored in a society that lives and thinks in images.
