Summary

The relationship between political culture and esoteric culture has not been broken up by the scientific revolution of the 19th century. In reality, it has reappeared in occasional flashes in one country or another and in specific situations. This has continued up to the present day, where gleams of esotericism still shine both on a theoretical level as well as in political practice.
In this book, which is the fruit of years of study, Giorgio Galli, a political scientist who is very attentive to esoteric themes, has gathered together several such moments – in the musings of Hobbes and Weber, in France in the oscillations between revolution and reaction, in Victorian England, and in the Romania of Codreanu as well as on the other side of the Atlantic in the United States and in Argentina. Once again in Europe there are the Fascist years in Italy as well as the current years, and lastly the Russia of the Bolsheviks and the later Russia of the Gorbachov years. This book is an adventure in history and occult and paranormal science, from alchemy to perestroika, from astrology to politics.
